This is such a comprehensive piece – thank you! As someone who led nonprofits for 20 years, and now works to help provide nonprofits with the tools to do the job more efficiently, I think there’s a lack of “down to earth” resources and this fits the bill. Claire, as a practitioner— a chief executive of a non-profit — I recommend that you begin with the end in mind, not at the beginning. With the end in mind you can more easily measure your progress toward your goal. Time is a huge factor for nonprofits. I highly recommend focusing on what your end goal is and stepping backwards. Thanks.
